Championship Meet
The championship meet is the highlight of our summer season, where swimmers have the chance to compete at the highest level and represent all the hard work they've put in over the weeks. All teams in our division compete at this meet, and it is held at the Alamo Heights Natatorium. Due to limited entries, each team is only allowed a select number of swimmers per event, which means entries are highly competitive and based on times, commitment, and team needs. Being selected for this meet is both an honor and a reflection of a swimmer’s effort and performance throughout the season.
Because of the limited spots and the importance of team scoring, it’s crucial that all swimmers who are eligible and selected for the championship meet are available to attend. Relays, in particular, depend on every swimmer being present, and even one absence can affect the entire team’s ability to compete. We encourage families to plan ahead and prioritize this meet so our team can compete at full strength and finish the season with pride and unity.
